Orator VoIP is now supported on Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows 2008 Server. For many years, the Dialogic HMP drivers only supported Windows XP and Windows 2003. For a trial version of the Orator VoIP software, see the link below:

Recording Dictation using iPhone

Dictation can be recorded into WebShuttle or Orator Dictation server by using the iPhone as a cell phone. We now offer an app, called iShuttle Dictate, that can record dictation onto an iPhone or iPod Touch and send files to the WebShuttle server.

iShuttle Dictate will send files directly to your WebShuttle platform, without having to “dock” the recorder, where they can be immediately accessed by transcriptionists. Recording dictation using VoIP soft phones

Now with WebShuttle or with Orator VoIP dictation system, callers can use VoIP phones to record dictation. By adding the domain name of the VoIP dictation server into the SIP settings of your VoIP phone, you can make VoIP dictation calls. We have used X-Lite from CounterPath as our recommend soft phone.
